In Podhale, the small town where Oakywood founder Mateusz Haberny grew up, it's a cultural tradition to pass down woodworking skills to younger generations. Mateusz's father brought him and his brother to the woodshop starting at a young age, where they were introduced to the secrets and magic of the woodshop.

While college, Mateusz drew a sketch of the company's first product, the wooden iPhone docking station, and Oakywood was created! The Haberny brothers have built a brand based on their personal values: modern design, eco-friendly production, and techy products.
